How to Crop a Photo
- Click Choose File or drag a JPG, PNG, or WebP image into the upload box.
- Drag the corners of the crop box to select the area you want to keep.
- Pick an aspect ratio if you need a specific shape (square, 16:9, 4:5, etc.).

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The image is loaded into your browser and cropped locally. It is never sent to any server.
Will cropping reduce image quality?
Cropping itself does not reduce quality — it discards pixels outside the crop area but keeps everything inside at full resolution. Quality only changes if you export to JPG or WebP at a lower quality setting.
Can I crop transparent PNGs?
Yes. Transparency is preserved when you export as PNG or WebP. Exporting to JPG fills transparency with white.
What's the largest image I can crop?
Upload up to 25 MB. Very large images are scaled to a maximum of 4096 pixels on the longest side for performance.
