Terms of Use
Last updated: May 2, 2026
Plain English
PhotoEditorTools is a free photo editor that runs in your browser. Use it freely for personal or commercial work. The site is provided as-is — no warranties. You're responsible for the images you edit and what you do with the output.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PhotoEditorTools to:
- Edit or distribute images that infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Create or distribute material that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that depicts non-consensual sexual content.
- Create deceptive or deepfake imagery designed to harm specific individuals.
- Attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse engineer, or otherwise abuse the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you create with PhotoEditorTools.
Your Content
You keep all rights to images you upload and edit. PhotoEditorTools never receives a copy of your images — everything happens in your browser — so we have no rights, license, or claim of any kind to anything you create.
No Warranty
PhotoEditorTools is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any specific result quality.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhotoEditorTools and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the service — including loss of data, lost profits, or any harm resulting from edits or exports made with the tool. Always keep a backup of your original photos.
Third-Party Libraries
PhotoEditorTools uses open-source JavaScript libraries (Fabric.js, Cropper.js, Pica) under their respective licenses. Those libraries remain the property of their authors.
Changes
We may update these terms when the site changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by general principles applicable to free online tools provided to a global audience. Local laws in your jurisdiction may apply to your use of the tool.
