Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Your photos never leave your device. PhotoEditorTools runs entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or process your images on any server. We do not sell or share data with third parties. There are no accounts.

How Image Editing Works

When you choose a file, your browser reads it directly from your device into a JavaScript canvas. All cropping, resizing, filters, text, and other edits happen in memory. When you click Download, the edited image is generated locally and saved through your browser's normal download mechanism. At no point does the image leave your device.

What We Don't Collect

• We don't collect your photos or any image data.
• We don't collect names, emails, accounts, or login data — there are no accounts.
• We don't sell or share data with third parties for marketing.

Server Logs

Like every web server, ours records standard access information when you load a page: the URL requested, the time of the request, the IP address making the request, the browser's user agent string, and the referring page if any. These logs are used for security and to diagnose technical problems. They contain no content from images you edit. Logs are retained for a limited time and then deleted.

Cookies

The site does not currently set tracking cookies. If we add functional cookies in the future (for example, to remember a UI preference), they will be local to your browser and will not be used for cross-site tracking. We do not currently use any third-party advertising or analytics that set cookies.

Analytics

We do not currently run third-party analytics on PhotoEditorTools. If that changes, we'll update this policy and prefer privacy-respecting analytics that do not identify individual visitors.

Third Parties

We do not embed third-party trackers or share image data with anyone. The site uses open-source JavaScript libraries (Fabric.js, Cropper.js, Pica) which are loaded from the same origin as the site — not from a third-party CDN.

Children

PhotoEditorTools is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we change anything material about how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
